I’m a backend developer located in the UK, five years of professional software development experience and many more in a hobbyist capacity.
I primarily make Morrowind mods that either add new gameplay elements, replace the main menu, or create a new visual flair to the game (all of which are very much to the dismay of its dedicated purist fanbase).
I also dabble in other projects but few are worth sharing or publishing, hence why I don’t / haven’t. I’ve been (very) slowly learning Japanese for the past five years, I also like tea (black, green, and chamomile; rarely milk) and cornflake clusters.
TLDR; Backend developer located in the United Kingdom. Worked with various languages and tools. I like tea and chocolate cornflake clusters.
One of my two primary languages, used in both professional and hobby projects. See [Project Island] for an example.
One of my two primary languages, primarily used in professional projects.
One of my primary hobby hobby languages, used for the majority o projects on my portfolio. See [FluadHTN] for an example.
I have a basic understanding of C++ and have been attempting to improve my knowledge with regards to memory management and pointer allocation. See [Progress Quest Advance] for an example.
I have familiarity working with JavaScript, though only in making minor modifications in the absence of a frontend developer.
I have familiarity working with Python, though only in making simple scripts and programs.
I have familiarity working with HLSL and GLSL, though only in making simple shaders. See [PSX Shader] and [CRT Shader] for examples.
The primary engine I have experience with, used in both professional and hobby projects. See [Project Island] for an example.
Two game frameworks I used to make my hobby projects in, those are now archived. Knowledge of these frameworks carries over into frameworks like PyGame and raylib, despite having not released any project using them.
Primarily used for the development of my university projects, only used in a professional capacity for a British government project under NDA.
Used to make the logos and edit images for my mod pages, as well as create most of the images seen on this site. See [Logos] for examples.
Why did I choose that username and logo? Because I felt that I needed an identiy to put to the stuff I made, whether I’m proud of it or not, and I didn’t like the idea of using my real name or face. So the phrase 僕の志 conveys both my intent to take more pride in my work while the logo is a motivating factor to continue doing what I enjoy.
